We wish to express our appreciation for the care our Mother, Dorothy M., received over the last year at the Chateau on Capitol Avenue. Initially, she entered the Chateau for a short-term respite stay following her discharge from the hospital We found this program very valuable and it helped ease her from her home. The professional and compassionate care she received during her stay was exceptional.

We also wish to commend the flexibility and willingness displayed to accommodate Mom’s needs as her health declined. Mom’s year-long stay at the Chateau included respite, assisted living and hospice services. Words do not express the relief of knowing that we did not have to relocate Mom to another facility during the last weeks of her life.

Although Mom did not want to leave her home, the compassionate and life-living caregivers soon won her over. They provided her many house of companionship and she, and we, considered many of them friends. So many caregivers touched Mom’s life in a positive way and we just wish to say that without their care Mom’s life would not have been as meaningful and comfortable, nor would ours.

The staff worked as a team for the benefit of the residents. Thank you for providing these services to the Sacramento area. Our family greatly appreciates it.
